Type: Coffee

This coffee comes from the Kawa Kanzuru Cooperative located outside of the city of Butembo in North Kivu. 

Kawa Kanzuru and the other affiliated cooperatives are a product of relationships between local farmers and international NGO's whose main goal is to improve farmer livelihood. Each participating farmer contributes a small amount, either in cash, building materials, or labor, and the participating NGO's bring education in good agricultural practices, official export reliability and infrastructure, and farm equipment (such as pulpers, shading nets, and roofing materials).

Tasting Notes: Bright, tannic acidity, medium body with milk chocolate, jam and honey notes.
