French Press, Cafetiere, Plunger - there are many names known for this coffee device that dates back to 1852 when the first patent was filed by two Frenchmen. The design underwent quite a few changes - albeit small ones - before a couple of these were settled with the most popular type the 'Chambord'.

If you don't have a grinder, make sure you add the grind option for French Press when you order your coffee.
