The key to brewing great coffee and tea is timing.
French press coffee is ideally served once it has been left to sit for four minutes. After pouring in the hot water, stir the coffee grounds and flip over this classic sand timer. The sand will run out at exactly the four minute mark, which signals that your coffee is ready for pressing.
For tea brewing, wait for the timer to end and then take your strainer away. Your tea is ready.
